Many of Chabad’s nobility – Rabbis , emissares, and teachers – studied at the Tzemach Tzedek Kollel. It is another one of Torath Emeth’s important learning institutions Since it was founded in 5732 the kollel’s reputation has spread throughout the Jewish world as a major center for the study of Halachah and Chassidut. Many young men study at the Tzemach Tzedek Kollel, with a special emphasis on practical Jewish law. Over the years, following the Rebbe’s directives, the kollel’s students have produced important volumes of Torah essays, including He’erot Ubiurim Beshulchan Ha’aruch Admor Hazaken and Yagdil Torah. These works have become widely celebrated among Torah scholars. The kollel is located in Jerusalem’s Old City, in the 19th century Tzemach Tzedek Synagogue, after which the kollel is named.
