The Institute for Rabbinical Studies was founded to ordain students as Rabbis. They attend the Institute after they have completed their studies at the Yeshivah Gedolah and finished their year of study (kvutzah) in 770, in New York. Leading educators, such as Rabbi Nechemiah Goldberg and Rabbi Chaim Shalom Deitsch, give profound lectures on Jewish law, and at the end of their learning the students are tested by top halachic authorities, who then award them their Semichah diploma. Since the Institute opened, many students are how servlng as emissarles and community Rabbis in Israel and around the world. The institute is located next to the Torath Emeth Yeshivah.
